Liam Delap and Tyler Dibling are targeted and Ruben Amorim could leave

Football pundits are calling on Manchester United to sign Southampton duo Tyler Dibling and Ipswich Town's Liam Delap in the summer transfer window. After a disappointing season, the Red Devils need new players to refresh their squad and improve their current form.

Manchester United are operating under severe financial pressure with a tight budget and needing to offload players who are no longer suitable for the squad to fund new signings. The club is currently second in the Premier League's net spend table, with Patrick Dorgu being the only notable signing in January, while several stars such as Marcus Rashford and Antony have been sent out on loan.

The club also cannot afford to wait any longer as major changes are needed to give coach Ruben Amorim hope, especially as the team currently sits in the bottom half of the Premier League table. Man Utd are on the lookout for a number of potential targets ahead of the summer transfer window, with a new striker a top priority.

Potential Partners: Liam Delap and Tyler Dibling

Liam Delap, a young talent at Ipswich who has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 26 Premier League games this season, is expected to leave the club if they are relegated, especially as Man City have a £40m buy-back clause in their possession.

Meanwhile, Southampton's Tyler Dibling has also been linked with a move to Man Utd. The struggling Premier League side are believed to have made a £55m bid for Dibling in January to ward off interest from rivals.

Former Manchester United player Paul Parker has spoken out about the possibility of the club signing both Delap and Dibling. “Manchester United should be looking at Tyler Dibling and Liam Delap 100%,” he insisted.

Parker commented on Dibling: “For Dibling, he will look at the Man United midfield and think: I’m better than all of them. He can run with the ball, pass the ball and score goals.” This confidence suggests Dibling could be a quality addition to the team.

Parker did not stop at recommending the signing, but also encouraged Delap and Dibling to reject offers from other teams to become “heroes” at Man Utd. He said: “They have the opportunity to change something and be heroes, and that must mean something.”

Change Needed at Old Trafford

The situation at Manchester United is becoming worrying under the leadership of coach Ruben Amorim. The club have won just five of their 16 Premier League games since Amorim took charge. They are currently 14th in the table, 34 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Amorim has admitted that he needs to improve the team's form: “The aim is to win the Premier League. I know we're losing games but the aim is to win the Premier League again.” However, former player Wayne Rooney has branded the statement “naive”, saying that the current reality is far from that goal.

Fan Pressure and Leadership Change

Despite the current difficulties, reports in Spain suggest that Amorim may not be in charge for long, with speculation that he could be sacked at the end of the season. The club are said to be considering former Barcelona boss Xavi as an alternative.

Xavi has shown an interest in joining Manchester United and has made his first enquiries regarding two signings. He is understood to be keen on signing Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo, two of his former Barcelona players. De Jong is expected to cost around €40m, while Araujo could be sold for around €70m, taking the total to €110m (around £91m).

Manchester United are facing a crucial period, with experts and former players advising them to sign young talents such as Tyler Dibling and Liam Delap. With finances tight and a poor run of form, strengthening the squad is vital to give them hope for next season.
